The IPM IL management entity has appointed two new members to its technical committee: S. Mohankumar and Ramasamy Srinivasan. Their terms began this month (May 2012) and will end in September 2014.
They replace Sam Kyamanywa and Stanley Wood whose terms expired last month. Kyamanywa, principal at Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda, will continue to work with the IPM IL East Africa Regional Program as a host country collaborator.
Mohankumar is an entomologist and professor at the Center for Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a host country collaborator with the IPM IL South Asia Regional Program and will represent host countries in the committee.
Srinivasan is an entomologist at AVRDC – The World Vegetable Center in Tainan, Taiwan and will represent International Agricultural Research Centers in the committee.
