Nguyen Van Hoa is director general of the Southern Horticultural Research Institute (SOFRI) in Vietnam and a plant virologist specializing in serological and molecular biology. For more than 10 years, he has conducted research on biological control and integrated pest and disease management of tropical fruits, as well as G.A.P. development on horticulture. Nguyen Van Hoa has worked closely with many international institutions such as JIRCAS, JICA, CABI, FFTC, VNCI, TFNet, ACIAR, AFACI, KOPIA, etc. in different aspects of fruit production and protection.
